Psalm 30:5b "…weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." God's grace is sufficient, even when it seems that it isn't. We sometimes like good soldiers must endure through the night. Pain is sometimes inevitable to get to the joy, but when our faith is founded in the Lord Jesus Christ joy will come in the morning. Don't give up!

Episode 7-If I Had Wings

Ps 55: 6 And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest. Verse 16 As for me, I will call upon God; and the Lord shall save me. There are many times in life, when everything goes wrong. There are times when we may want to crawl away and hide or runaway and just get away from it all. Usually though, we can't do that even if it is our heart's desire. If we will trust the Lord, He promises us that He will sustain us through those heartbreaks.

Episode 6-Not Ashamed

Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." We can be bold with and not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is non-discriminatory. It extends to ALL men, not some or most. The good man can be saved just as easily as the murderer or drunk. The young and old, rich and poor, all can be reached through the Gospel. Christ truly died for all men, and we receive that forgiveness through faith alone. Daniel overcame in the lion's den by faith. That is the way you can overcome your problems as well. We look specifically at the lions of sin, frustration as a Christian, doubt, and discouragement. Our prayer is that through faith you will be victorious just like Daniel–by faith!

Daniel had victory in the lion's den by one way. He did not come out alive by spooky voodoo. He did not have success sleeping with the lions because of his good deeds. Daniel 6:23 teaches us that Daniel had victory over lions the same way we can have victory over our problems–our lions of fear, doubt, and despair. Faith in God! We pray that you will be encouraged by the goodness of our God in meeting our needs–beginning with salvation–when we trust Him.

Psalm 107:2 says, "Let the redeemed of the Lord say so," and this is my testimony. I was not what we would think of as a "bad sinner," but I was just as lost as the worst person you have ever known. I fell short of God's perfect standard. Then on June 23, 1991, despite always knowing the Gospel, I finally trusted in what Christ had accomplished for me on the Cross. It was not enough to believe that He existed. I needed faith in Him. I had to trust that He died for me.

Habakkuk, Romans, Galations, and Hebrews unanimously contend that "the just shall live by faith." Yet for some reason today, so many Christians are content to live defeated and in mediocrity. In this podcast, we examine what the Scriptures teach about our life as Christians after salvation. Galations 3 teaches that we are unable by works to live the "victorious Christian life." Then we turn to Romans 6 where we learn that Christ died to break the bonds of sin. Finally we look at the solution to the matter. Enjoy and don't forget to e-mail us.

Episode 1-Faith to Please God

This is our first episode, and as such we will improve. We do begin though with such an important topic. Man cannot please God through his own devices. Our works, our good deeds, cannot satisfy the justice of a holy God. Thankfully, Christ has made a way for us through His life, death, and resurrection. Ephesians 2:8-9 teaches us that it is through faith alone that we can accept this "grace" or gift that Christ has provided for us.
